The focus of the funeral/memorial service and farewell ceremony is to honor the deceased. Through it their spirit and living personality should come alive again. Be felt again. This main part is framed by ritual, music, poetry and silence.

As a freelance funeral speaker, I work in collaboration. We organize the ceremony together. I get to know the deceased during a detailed preliminary visit. We then discuss the ceremony, talk about what is important to you and plan possible contributions from family, friends or colleagues. Each ceremony is personalized and should be a reflection of the deceased.

Between the preliminary talk and the ceremony, I am available for questions and clarifications. Should I need more information, I will of course contact you.

Flow of Collaboration

• Initial consultation on the phone: clarification of the general conditions
• In person preliminary meeting of approx. 2-4 hours at the deceased’s home or yours
• My writing the speech
• Conducting and performing the ceremony
• Post-processing

Costs
A farewell ceremony usually costs between 800 and 1500 francs, depending on the
nature of the ceremony (urn, funeral service, farewell ceremony, etc.).
I work at an hourly rate of 130 francs and am happy to offer you a cost ceiling on request.

It is important to me that everyone can afford a ritual, so individual price agreements are possible on request or we can find other forms of an exchange.
